What we collect

• Waitlist: your email, the kinds of hunting you picked, your home state if you chose one, the page you signed up from and when.
• Account: your email, your home state if you set it, the states you follow, your alert settings, and when you signed in. We don't use passwords; we email you a sign-in link.
• Sweepstakes: your name, email and state of residence when you enter.
• Gear links: when you click through to a retailer we count the click and note which page it came from. We don't record who clicked.

We don't use advertising trackers, and browsing the regulations doesn't require an account.

How we use it

To run BirdHunt: sending the alerts you ask for, launch news and founding-member offers if you're on the waitlist, running sweepstakes and contacting winners. We don't sell or share your information. We use an email delivery provider to send messages on our behalf.

Affiliate links

Some gear links earn BirdHunt a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Pages with affiliate links say so. Commissions never decide what we recommend or what regulations we show.

Your choices

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can change your alerts or followed states from your account at any time. From your account page, you can download everything we have on you, or delete your account entirely (this cancels any active membership and can't be undone). You can also reply to any email from us and ask.

Regulations on this site

Season dates, limits and fees are compiled from state wildlife agencies and link to their sources. Regulations change; always confirm with the agency before you hunt.
